Following successful testing of Fidas® 200 E, on 2/23/2017 the existing MCERTS certificate (MCERTS Performance Standards for Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Systems, Version 9.1, dated December 2015) for Fidas® 200 and 200 S was renewed and the Fidas® 200 E supplemented.
Fidas 200 E freigestellt_TUEV_MCERTS_GR.jpg So now all Fidas® 200 variants fulfill the requirements for certified, continuous monitoring of PM10 and PM2.5 in ambient air, also in Great Britain.
The Fidas® 200 E differs from Fidas® 200 in that the complete sensor unit is removed from the control unit and is accommodated in a separate housing.
This certification is not to be confused with MCERTS certification “Performance Standards for Indicative Ambient Particulate Monitors”, whose requirements are set significantly lower (including: permissible expanded uncertainty of 50 %!).
The first fine dust measuring device Fidas® 200 recently went into operation in the national British measurement network at the most important site in Marylebone Road in London. It uses the latest firmware and, according to our sales partner, worked perfectly from the very first day.
