The particle measurement technology specialist Palas® from Karlsruhe has founded an advisory board in July 2019 to support the management of the company as a strategic sparring partner in the long-term further development. Members of the advisory board are Dr. Christian Debus and Andreas Rapp.
Dr. Debus was Executive Vice President and Member Group Management at Camfil for several years and is an expert in the fields of clean air technology and air filter production. After a position at BMW, Mr. Rapp worked in consulting for more than 13 years before joining Sulzer AG in 2015. He has been Chief Transformation Officer at Volkswagen AG since 2018. Together, they will support the Palas® management in matters relating to strategic orientation, corporate development, and the development of new markets. In addition to the technical expertise of the advisory board, Palas® will also benefit from the large network of advisory boards.
"The Advisory Board is a very effective body for the management of Palas®, which enables us to reflect our strategies and to sustainably implement our growth course", says Dr. Daniel Auer, Managing Director of Palas GmbH.
Brockhaus Capital Management AG (BCM), which has been the majority owner of Palas® since December 2018, played a decisive role in the foundation of the advisory board. "With Dr. Christian Debus and Andreas Rapp we could win a powerful and industry experienced advisory board for Palas®, whose experience will support the management in consolidating and expanding the technology leadership globally", says Marco Brockhaus, CEO of BCM.

The meetings, which will also be attended by the Palas® management and representatives of BCM, will take place quarterly.
