Aerosol Generators for Liquid Particles » AGF System

Liquid nebulizer with binary nozzle and downstream cyclone to separate large droplets

The AGF series features a robust design, easy handling, and a long lifetime.

The AGF series combines a binary nozzle with a downstream cyclone. The AGF 2.0 is equipped with a cyclone with a cut-off diameter of dCut-off = 2 µm; the AGF 10.0 is equipped with a cyclone with a cut-off diameter of dCut-off = 10 µm.

The maximum particle concentration of the AGF series is approx. 107 particles/cm3. The cyclone can calculate the max. particle size, regardless of the liquid.

Large droplets generate high mass flows and may contaminate filters, for example, to such an extent that droplet loading causes the filters to be evaluated as better than they are during filter testing.

The AGF series is successfully used to generate test aerosols, in clean room technology applications, to test compressed air filters, and for LDV measurements.
